                       Read the story.

One day, the Fox thought of a plan to trick the Stork.

‘You must come and have dinner with me tomorrow,’ he said to the Stork. The Stork
gladly accepted the invitation. The next evening, she went to the Fox’s home expecting a
              delicious spread.

But the Fox served soup. He served the soup in a very shallow dish. With her long beak,
the Stork tried to have the soup, but only the tip of her beak got wet. She could not even

have a drop of soup. But the Fox lapped up the soup easily and smacked his lips to upset
              the Stork further.

Although the Stork was displeased, she did not make a show of it. She remained calm and
while leaving she said, ‘I would like to invite you to dinner tomorrow.’

The Fox was pleased to receive the
invitation. So the Fox arrived on
time to have dinner. And the Stork
served fish pie in a tall jar with a very
narrow neck. While the Stork had

the delicious meal, the Fox licked the
outside of the jar and sniffed at his
              food.

The Fox realised his mistake, so he
apologised to the Stork and quickly
              made a quick exit.
