                Some punctuation marks are missing in this short story. Use capital letters,
                full stops, commas, question marks, quotation marks and exclamation marks
                to make this story meaningful.

                morris the martian was flying around the solar system one day when he saw a
                strange light in front of him

                what is that he thought to himself morris was scared but he
                flew a little bit closer so that he could see it better hello he
                called out there was no reply hello is anyone there he called
                but again there was no reply suddenly a creature appeared
                in front of the light


                boo it shouted poor morris was really scared and he flew off
                to his home and hid under his bed




                       Marks of punctuation and capital letters make our writing clearer and easier to
                       understand.



             You have earlier learnt what the most commonly used punctuation marks are.
             Let us discuss them once again.


             Capital Letters

             Capital letters are used

             1.  to begin a new sentence. For example,
                 •  Our school reopens on 2 July.
                 •  Do you know the way to the mall?

             2.  for names of people and titles. For example,
                 •  President of the United States, Joe Biden and Prime Minister Narendra Modi
                    addressed the press jointly.
                 •  I haven’t met Ravi or Kunal today.
