The story ‘Lights... Camera... Action!’ is a biography. A biography is the story of a person written by
            someone else.

A biographical sketch, or bio-sketch, is a short summary of a person’s life. It is shorter than a
biography and much more specific. It contains information about the childhood, education, occupation,
achievements and other important details of the person’s life.
Here is the format of a bio sketch

            • details about personal life • family details
(Name, Date of Birth, Place of Birth) (names of parents, family background)

            • physical appearance
            • details about education and professional achievements
            • details about contribution to society • awards and honours

            • death (if the person is no more)

Guidelines for writing a bio sketch
            • Keep it brief and factual.
            • Include only those details that are significant to the subject’s life.

            • Use the past tense in case the person is dead.
            • If a person is alive, use the present tense.

            • If the person is dead, use the past tense.
            • Write in third person (he/she, him/her, his/her).

Write a biographical sketch in about 80–100 words with the help of the points
          given below.
