the queen. He gave his consent immediately. ‘OK, Granny. I will bring Malini tomorrow.
I know I can trust you.’

It was a herculean task to convince Malini to go to the old woman’s small house.
Because that meant, no WIFI, no laptops, no TV, no social networking, and no luxurious
                high-calorie food.

Malini went into a fit of rage but finally gave in.

The next day, the king and the queen along with the courtiers were at Granny’s house
to drop Malini. They bid farewell to the princess knowing that she was in the safest
                hands.

Based on your reading of part I, state whether the following statements are True or
                False. Rectify the false statements.

                1. Malini spent most of her time on social networking sites, neglecting her studies and
                    other talents.

                2. Malini’s unhealthy lifestyle led to obesity and other health issues.
                3. The court physician and counsellor suggested converting part of the palace into an

exercise area for Malini, but it was unsuccessful.
                4. The king accidentally stumbled upon the old woman’s hut while exploring the

                    forest.
                5. The old woman suggested that Malini stay with her for three weeks to improve her
                    health.

                6. Malini resisted the idea of staying with the old woman but eventually agreed without
                    any fuss.
                                                                   II

Malini hadn’t had anything since morning and she was hungry. She said, ‘Hey old lady,
can you give me some carbonated drink?’ Granny smiled and said, ‘What’s that? Here,
you get only fresh milk. And I will give you that only after you do some yoga with me.’

Malini couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She challenged, ‘Do you know who am I?
I am the princess of Mayapur. How dare you talk to me like this? Nope, I don’t want any
milk and I can’t do any yoga for that wishy-washy glass of liquid. You better give what I
                ask for.’

Granny was expecting this outburst. Composed Granny herculean: of extraordinary
                                                                                           power, intensity, or difficulty
said, ‘Well, suit yourself. But, this is my house and you will wishy-washy: (of drink or liquid

could not log into any of her social networking accounts. a strong feeling, especially anger
                                                                                           composed: calm
