6 Message Writing
A message is a method of conveying information to someone with whom one is unable to
speak for some reason.
A message should not be of more than 50 words. It should be enclosed in a box.
Mr Sharma: Hello, could I speak to Mr Kapoor, please?
Priyansh: Hello, Sir. Father is not at home at the moment. I am Priyansh, his
son. Could I help you?
Mr Sharma: Hello, Priyansh. I am Rajat Sharma. I was supposed to meet your
father tomorrow morning but something urgent has come up. Could you ask
him to reschedule the appointment for tomorrow evening?
Priyansh: Sure, Sir. I will inform him.
Mr Sharma: Thanks, Priyansh.
Now, Priyansh has to go for his football practice. So, he leaves a message for his father.
