                 In each set, circle the sentence in the simple present tense.


                      I do my homework every day.                     I like mangoes.

                      I am doing my homework.                         I liked mangoes.

                      I did my homework yesterday.                    I am buying mangoes.

                      She is a good teacher.                          They will play cricket on Friday.

                      She was a teacher.                              They played cricket last Sunday.

                      She is studying.                                They play cricket on Sunday.

                      He will watch television tomorrow.              This is my favourite toy.

                      He watched television.                          This was my favourite toy.


                      He watches television at night.                 This will be my favourite toy.
                      She had a pet dog.                              We walked to school.


                      She has a pet dog.                              We walk to school.

                      She will get a pet dog next year.               We are walking to school.




                         The sentences in simple present tense tell us that these actions happen every day
                         as a habit, routine or a daily event.
