             Simple Present Tense

             The simple present tense in English is used to describe an action that occurs on a
             regular basis and to state universal truths.

             Uses

             The simple present tense is used

             1.  for repeated or regular actions. For example,
                 •  I go to school by bus.
                 •  The train leaves by 10 a.m.
             2.  for facts. For example,
                 •  The president lives in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

                 •  A spider has eight legs.
