             Kinds of Sentences

Sentences can be divided into four kinds—
             • declarative sentences  interrogative sentences

             • imperative sentences  exclamatory sentences

             1. Declarative sentences state facts. For example,

                 • It is going to rain today.
                 • You should go to the library sometimes.

Declarative sentences end with a full stop.
