             Let us now quickly revise the tenses.

             The Simple Present Tense


             We use the simple present tense to talk about
             1.  habits or actions that get repeated or some work that is done on a regular basis as
                 part of a routine. For example,

                 •  I walk to school every day.
                 •  I usually play for an hour after school.

             2.  universal truths. For example,
                 •  The earth revolves around the sun.
                 •  Kangaroos carry their babies in their pouches.
