Time to learn new words

          Read these sentences. Pay attention to the highlighted words.


          •  You read the tale of a greedy mouse. (tale = story)

          •  The man caught the mouse by its tail. (tail = a part of the body of most animals)

          When two or three words begin with the same letter, we look at the second letter
          while arranging in alphabetical order. For example,

               alphabetical order: back, big, bun


          •  someone                   stomach              should


               alphabetical order: should, someone, stomach
