About the Poet
               Rose Amy Fyleman (1877–1957) was an English writer and poet. She is remembered primarily for her poems about fairies. She
               was also a teacher, translator, editor, singer, and lecturer. Her verses enjoyed tremendous success among readers and her first
               collection Fairies and Chimneys was printed in 1918.
