Synonyms are words that have similar meanings. For example,

• You can make a lot of money doctoring animals.

can also be written as

• You can make a lot of money treating animals.

The word treating can be used in place of doctoring as it conveys the similar meaning.

Antonyms are words with opposite meanings. For example,

• Polynesia noticed that Doctor Dolittle wants to learn everything quickly, but she sug-
gested him to learn slowly.

The word slowly is the antonym of quickly.

Write the synonym in first box and antonym in second box of the given words and then,

use them to frame sentences.
