                      Let’s read the poem aloud.

The wind, he is a naughty chap,

             Who whistles far and loud:

Today he wears a patchwork cap

             Of ragged rainy cloud.

He wanders here, he wanders there,

             With mischief in his mirth,
He does not care, he does not care

             For anyone on earth!

He tries to blow out kitchen fires

             He leads the sands a-stray,

He tampers with electric wires ragged: (here) having an irregular
