Let’s do the activity
Imagine the appearance and personality of other weather elements, such as the
sun, rain, snow, and clouds.
Think creatively about how these elements might look and behave if they were
personified like the wind in the poem.
Draw pictures or write descriptions to bring your imagined weather characters to
life. art integration
Just for laughs
The Sun said, ‘I light up the world, making everything grow!’
The moon said, ‘I guide the tides and bring a calm glow.’
The storm grumbled, ‘But when I roar, the world takes cover!’
The Sun and moon laughed and said, ‘And when you’re gone, we still
shine over!’
‘True’, said the storm. ‘But I am the only one who brings THUNDER!’
