                      Read these sentences.

                        y I do not like cricket.

                        y Rajan does not eat breakfast at 7:00 a.m.

                        y I am not going to the fair.

                        y Rohit will not go to school today.

                 These sentences have not in them.


                        A sentence that has not in it is called a negative sentence. A negative sentence may
                        state something that is absolutely true or correct.



             Let us understand the word order of negative sentences.

                                             Ravi is not a naughty boy.                        isn’t
