From Affirmative to Negative
Ø An affirmative sentence can be changed into a negative sentence with a change in its
meaning. For example,
y My sister lives in Goa. (affirmative)
My sister does not live in Goa. (negative)
y I have many friends. (affirmative)
I have no friends. (negative)
Ø An affirmative sentence can be changed into a negative sentence without changing its
meaning. For example,
