                       The words a, an and the are called articles. A and an are called indefinite
                       articles because they do not refer to any specific person or thing. The article
                       the is called a definite article because it refers to a specific person or thing.

             Indefinite Articles


             The indefinite articles are used
             1.  before singular countable nouns.

                   For example, a table, a pen, a bottle, a book, a politician, a committee, a school, a
                 wish, an egg, an umbrella, an ox, an ant.
