C. Read the following set of instructions and fill in the blanks with the passive
form of the verb:
How to make a sandwich
1. Take two slices of brown bread.
2. Trim the crust of both the slices.
3. Apply butter evenly on both the slices.
4. Place slices of cucumber and then slices of tomatoes on the buttered side of
one slice.
5. Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper powder and salt on the cucumber and tomato
slices.
6. Cover with the other slice, buttered side down.
7. Press gently and chill it for a while.
8. Before serving, cut the sandwich diagonally.
