                       An adverb modifies a verb, an adjective or another adverb.




             Kinds of Adverbs

             There are ten kinds of adverbs. Let us study them.


             1.  Adverbs of Manner tell us how an action happens. For example,
                 y   She entered the room silently.
                 y   He played well.
                 y   She was badly hurt in the accident.
