5. Adverbs of Degree tell us the level or extent to which a quality exists.
For example,

6. Adverbs of Reason tell us the reason or the purpose of an action.
For example,
y He is unwell, therefore he could not come to the party.
y The bell rang, so the children ran out.

7. Adverbs of Affirmation confirm something. For example,
y He’ll certainly help you.
y It was truly an awesome experience.
y Yes, they are coming tonight.
8. Adverbs of Negation negate something. For example,
y No, you cannot go alone.
y He is not here.
y He is not at all honest.
9. Interrogative Adverbs help us to ask questions. For example,
y Where has he gone?
y Why are you sad?
y How long will you stay in Bhopal?
10. Relative Adverbs are used to join clauses. For example,
y This is the place where he was born.
y This is the reason why she is so sad.
