When we talk about possession with reference to plural nouns, we add an apostrophe (’s) to it.

          For example:

          • The men’s room is on the right.
          • The children’s bags were kept neatly in a line.

          • The mice’s cage was left open by someone.

When a name ends in s, we usually treat it like any other singular noun, and add ’s:

          • This is Tapas’s chair. (Tapas’ chair is also correct.)

          • Suhas’s mother is quite strict.

Add apostrophes to show possession. Two of the sentences do not require them.

          1. The children bottles are on the table outside.

          2. Deven bicycle is just like mine.

          3. The cats claws are sharp.

          4. All the boys are wearing their caps.

          5. You should listen to Mr Das advice.

          6. The clowns noses were red.

          7. Revas sister is my friend.
          8. These apples are quite expensive.
