The Mauritius National Botanical Garden in Pamplemousses, Mauritius, is the oldest
botanical garden in the southern hemisphere.
It is formally known as the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden. It has
more than 650 varieties of plants and 86 varieties of palm trees across the world.
